Black Supper is a blackletter typeface that arose from Byron Hughes' love for blackletter and the creations he has made through Last Supper Society. With Gothic Textura calligraphy and Gutenberg type in mind, the typeface was built in a modular construction with a humanistic touch. Through the modularity, the letterforms become abstracted in some instances but make for a great patterning and texturing tool that evokes the repetition of metal fence posts surrounding an old church.
